I think for my next shoot I'll run through the basics of what I'm looking for in a test shoot. The couch has turned out to be a great area, and since it offers tons of possibilities for posing, I'm gonna have Kdie run through a linear series of poses. She'll start simply by sitting up facing the camera with her hands on her lap, then progress to having her laying back in a pin up-esque pose.

I find that new models are very anxious as to how they'll do and not knowing beforehand can feel awkward, so having a visual reference of how a basic test shoot with me will progress should help.

I'll also be using this set-up to test the consistency of my shots. Thus far I've mostly been using natural lighting against a reflector, but with winter upon us, getting to a standard level of quality is important.
